拾荒者
在這個世界的邊緣，
在荒蕪奇异的星球，
有一位拾荒者。
不見得憔神悴力，却穿梭在破壞與重建的循環，
不見得狂言妄談，却漫游在迷幻與想像的邊緣，
不見得黯然蹣跚，却探尋著暗夜中的希冀光束。
拾荒者，可以理解爲在一個被遺忘的宇宙角落裏孤獨漂泊、尋找遺失希望、探尋殘存價值的人。當理想被現實放逐、人性被意志擊潰，拾荒者穿行在末日之下的世界，异星原始物種映入眼簾。打破常規邏輯和法則，于生機與毀滅的邊緣挖掘新的生機，以天馬行空的想像構建關于人與自然的新家園。
作爲張哲瀚第三張個人專輯，《拾荒者》似乎沒有那麽“明亮”。在整張專輯的視覺呈現上，深沉色調和陰暗光影爲主的基調呈現出一種神秘又令人沉思的氛圍。荒凉與遺失、古堡與廢墟、破舊與狂亂、古典與現代的元素像無人角落塵封了許久的廢舊故事，等待來自深處的凝視、探索與重新開啓。
在他的音樂之路上，如果說第一張專輯《深藍者》像獨自潜入靜謐深海的低語；第二張專輯《曼陀羅》是蓬勃生長在荒漠，不被澆熄的火種；那《拾荒者》更像以荒蠻又優雅的視角洞察世界，再用雙重叠加的靈魂獨白詮釋人性之複雜多變。

這首歌在前期搭建結構到後期編曲反復嘗試了數十個版本，歌手與製作人提議在最後段落融入童聲合唱的形式，强調“异星孤獨感”與“人類共鳴”形成情緒遞進。演唱中，張哲瀚別出心裁地模擬“精靈語”演唱，構建外星交流語境，仿佛來到一個陌生星際與眼前的未知生物交流。在歌詞打造上，他在與作詞人的不斷溝通中，大膽剝離慣常思維，構建來自文字的陌生化張力。
