The Naalayira Divya Prabandham is a collection of 4,000 Tamil
verses written by the 12 Alvars. The work, an important liturgical
compilation of the Tamil Alvars marks the beginning of the
canonisation of 12 Vaishnava poet saints, and these hymns are still
sung extensively today. The Divya Prabandham sings the praises of
Lord Narayana (Vishnu) and his many forms.
The Legend, Isaignani ILAIYARAAJA, who created Magic, in
well over 1500 movies, immortalised Tamil Music Thevaram
creates magic once again in Naalayira Divya Prabhandham. He
has carefully, selectedly curated and chosen 8 pasurams from the
4000 verses and composed music for the same in this special album
titled “ Divya Pasurams ”.
